The Asics Gel NYC sneakers are listed on Weidian for 328 CNY. These shoes feature the recognizable Asics silhouette with gel cushioning, offering a comfortable fit for everyday wear. When ordering, keep in mind that Chinese sizing tends to be smaller than typical international measurements; it is advisable to consult the provided size chart and possibly select a size larger than you normally wear. This guidance can help ensure the sneakers fit comfortably once they arrive, making them a practical addition to your footwear collection through your shopping agent.

What to check in the QC photos
- 1Sole stitching: should be even, no glue overflow at the seam.
- 2Heel alignment: stand the shoe on a flat surface — heel should sit straight.
- 3Logo placement and spelling on the tongue and heel tab.
- 4Size label inside should match the size you ordered (most batches use CN sizing — add ~1 size for EU).
- 5Tongue thickness and stitching — common QC differentiator between batches.
Shipping & customs
Shoes are typically 0.8–1.3 kg with box. Removing the box (mention in seller notes) can cut shipping cost by 30%. Avoid DHL Express for branded sneakers — slower lines see less customs inspection.

I started curating the KakoBuy Spreadsheet in April 2023 after ordering enough from Taobao and Weidian to figure out which sellers actually ship what they advertise. Growing up between China and Germany made the buying-agent ecosystem feel obvious — this list is the shortcut I wish I'd had on my first order.
