The Wales Bonner Sambas listed on Weidian are presented as sneakers inspired by the designer’s aesthetic, priced at 300 CNY. The listing includes several images supplied by the seller, showing the shoes from multiple angles. When you decide whether to add them to your haul, ask your shopping agent to take quality‑control photos of the actual pair before it is shipped and compare those with the seller’s pictures to confirm consistency in details such as stitching, sole pattern and overall condition. This extra step helps ensure the sneakers match the visual description and meet your expectations before completing the purchase.

What to check in the QC photos
- 1Sole stitching: should be even, no glue overflow at the seam.
- 2Heel alignment: stand the shoe on a flat surface — heel should sit straight.
- 3Logo placement and spelling on the tongue and heel tab.
- 4Size label inside should match the size you ordered (most batches use CN sizing — add ~1 size for EU).
- 5Tongue thickness and stitching — common QC differentiator between batches.
Shipping & customs
Shoes are typically 0.8–1.3 kg with box. Removing the box (mention in seller notes) can cut shipping cost by 30%. Avoid DHL Express for branded sneakers — slower lines see less customs inspection.

I started curating the KakoBuy Spreadsheet in April 2023 after ordering enough from Taobao and Weidian to figure out which sellers actually ship what they advertise. Growing up between China and Germany made the buying-agent ecosystem feel obvious — this list is the shortcut I wish I'd had on my first order.
