The Rick Owens Basket High sneakers are listed on Weidian for 697 CNY. This footwear option presents a contemporary silhouette that echoes the distinctive style often associated with the Rick Owens name, though it is not an official brand product. When deciding whether to include these shoes in your haul, consider reviewing the seller’s images closely and matching them against the quality‑control photos your shopping agent will provide before the item is dispatched. This comparison can help ensure the condition and details meet your expectations, allowing you to make a more informed purchase decision.

What to check in the QC photos
- 1Sole stitching: should be even, no glue overflow at the seam.
- 2Heel alignment: stand the shoe on a flat surface — heel should sit straight.
- 3Logo placement and spelling on the tongue and heel tab.
- 4Size label inside should match the size you ordered (most batches use CN sizing — add ~1 size for EU).
- 5Tongue thickness and stitching — common QC differentiator between batches.
Shipping & customs
Shoes are typically 0.8–1.3 kg with box. Removing the box (mention in seller notes) can cut shipping cost by 30%. Avoid DHL Express for branded sneakers — slower lines see less customs inspection.

I started curating the KakoBuy Spreadsheet in April 2023 after ordering enough from Taobao and Weidian to figure out which sellers actually ship what they advertise. Growing up between China and Germany made the buying-agent ecosystem feel obvious — this list is the shortcut I wish I'd had on my first order.
