The Rick Owens Abstract Jumbo Lace 2 Styles listing on Taobao offers a pair of sneakers priced at 595 CNY. The design features a distinctive abstract lace pattern that gives the shoes a contemporary look, while the overall silhouette follows the brand’s recognizable aesthetic. The shoes are presented as a marketplace item in the style of Rick Owens rather than an official branded product. When deciding whether to add them to your haul, think about grouping them with other purchases so you can reduce the shipping cost per kilogram, which may make the total expense more manageable.

What to check in the QC photos
- 1Sole stitching: should be even, no glue overflow at the seam.
- 2Heel alignment: stand the shoe on a flat surface — heel should sit straight.
- 3Logo placement and spelling on the tongue and heel tab.
- 4Size label inside should match the size you ordered (most batches use CN sizing — add ~1 size for EU).
- 5Tongue thickness and stitching — common QC differentiator between batches.
Shipping & customs
Shoes are typically 0.8–1.3 kg with box. Removing the box (mention in seller notes) can cut shipping cost by 30%. Avoid DHL Express for branded sneakers — slower lines see less customs inspection.

I started curating the KakoBuy Spreadsheet in April 2023 after ordering enough from Taobao and Weidian to figure out which sellers actually ship what they advertise. Growing up between China and Germany made the buying-agent ecosystem feel obvious — this list is the shortcut I wish I'd had on my first order.
