The Birkenstock Boston listing on Taobao offers a sneaker style that mirrors the classic Birkenstock aesthetic, priced at 184 CNY. It presents a simple silhouette with the recognizable strap design, suitable for casual wear and light activity. When evaluating the fit, keep in mind that Chinese sizes tend to run small; reviewing the provided size chart and opting for a size larger than your usual measurement can help ensure a comfortable fit. This information should guide you in deciding whether to include the shoes in your haul, with your shopping agent ready to handle the purchase and shipping.

What to check in the QC photos
- 1Sole stitching: should be even, no glue overflow at the seam.
- 2Heel alignment: stand the shoe on a flat surface — heel should sit straight.
- 3Logo placement and spelling on the tongue and heel tab.
- 4Size label inside should match the size you ordered (most batches use CN sizing — add ~1 size for EU).
- 5Tongue thickness and stitching — common QC differentiator between batches.
Shipping & customs
Shoes are typically 0.8–1.3 kg with box. Removing the box (mention in seller notes) can cut shipping cost by 30%. Avoid DHL Express for branded sneakers — slower lines see less customs inspection.

I started curating the KakoBuy Spreadsheet in April 2023 after ordering enough from Taobao and Weidian to figure out which sellers actually ship what they advertise. Growing up between China and Germany made the buying-agent ecosystem feel obvious — this list is the shortcut I wish I'd had on my first order.
