The Bape bapesta sneakers listed on 1688 are priced at 205 CNY and present a street‑wear aesthetic reminiscent of the Bape brand style. The listing includes several product photos provided by the seller; when deciding whether to add these shoes to your haul, it is advisable to have your shopping agent compare those images with the quality‑control photos they take before the item is shipped, ensuring the item matches the advertised appearance. This approach helps you verify details such as pattern alignment and overall condition, giving you more confidence in the purchase.

What to check in the QC photos
- 1Sole stitching: should be even, no glue overflow at the seam.
- 2Heel alignment: stand the shoe on a flat surface — heel should sit straight.
- 3Logo placement and spelling on the tongue and heel tab.
- 4Size label inside should match the size you ordered (most batches use CN sizing — add ~1 size for EU).
- 5Tongue thickness and stitching — common QC differentiator between batches.
Shipping & customs
Shoes are typically 0.8–1.3 kg with box. Removing the box (mention in seller notes) can cut shipping cost by 30%. Avoid DHL Express for branded sneakers — slower lines see less customs inspection.

I started curating the KakoBuy Spreadsheet in April 2023 after ordering enough from Taobao and Weidian to figure out which sellers actually ship what they advertise. Growing up between China and Germany made the buying-agent ecosystem feel obvious — this list is the shortcut I wish I'd had on my first order.
