The Balenciaga Fur Alaska Ski Boot listed on Taobao is presented as a sneaker‑style shoe with a fur‑trimmed silhouette that echoes the look of the high‑fashion label. Priced at 1499 CNY, it targets shoppers interested in a distinctive, street‑ready design. When ordering, keep in mind that Chinese sizes tend to run small; review the provided size chart carefully and consider selecting a size larger than you normally wear. This guidance can help ensure the boots fit comfortably after they arrive through your shopping agent.

What to check in the QC photos
- 1Sole stitching: should be even, no glue overflow at the seam.
- 2Heel alignment: stand the shoe on a flat surface — heel should sit straight.
- 3Logo placement and spelling on the tongue and heel tab.
- 4Size label inside should match the size you ordered (most batches use CN sizing — add ~1 size for EU).
- 5Tongue thickness and stitching — common QC differentiator between batches.
Shipping & customs
Shoes are typically 0.8–1.3 kg with box. Removing the box (mention in seller notes) can cut shipping cost by 30%. Avoid DHL Express for branded sneakers — slower lines see less customs inspection.

I started curating the KakoBuy Spreadsheet in April 2023 after ordering enough from Taobao and Weidian to figure out which sellers actually ship what they advertise. Growing up between China and Germany made the buying-agent ecosystem feel obvious — this list is the shortcut I wish I'd had on my first order.
