Balenci sock shoes are listed on Weidian as a sneaker style that mimics the look of a sock‑like low‑cut shoe, offering a sleek silhouette that can complement casual outfits. Priced at 273 CNY, the listing includes several images provided by the seller; it is advisable to have your shopping agent compare those pictures with the quality‑control photos they take before the item is shipped, ensuring the product matches the online representation. This approach helps you confirm details such as the overall shape and finish, giving you a clearer idea of what to expect when the shoes arrive. Consider whether this aesthetic fits your wardrobe before adding it to your haul.

What to check in the QC photos
- 1Sole stitching: should be even, no glue overflow at the seam.
- 2Heel alignment: stand the shoe on a flat surface — heel should sit straight.
- 3Logo placement and spelling on the tongue and heel tab.
- 4Size label inside should match the size you ordered (most batches use CN sizing — add ~1 size for EU).
- 5Tongue thickness and stitching — common QC differentiator between batches.
Shipping & customs
Shoes are typically 0.8–1.3 kg with box. Removing the box (mention in seller notes) can cut shipping cost by 30%. Avoid DHL Express for branded sneakers — slower lines see less customs inspection.

I started curating the KakoBuy Spreadsheet in April 2023 after ordering enough from Taobao and Weidian to figure out which sellers actually ship what they advertise. Growing up between China and Germany made the buying-agent ecosystem feel obvious — this list is the shortcut I wish I'd had on my first order.
